Marian E. (Bieser) De Castris, 87, formerly of Amboy, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at Heritage Manor in Mendota. She was born October 14, 1926 in Sublette, the daughter of Ralph and Bernice (Glaser) Lauer. She was united in marriage to William E. Bieser, who preceded her in death in 1990. She remarried Valentino De Castris, who preceded her in death in August 2014.
Marian enjoyed traveling, especially to visit her children and grandchildren. She liked gardening, flowers, and was an avid reader. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by four sons, Stephen (Diane) Bieser of Dixon, David (Brenda) Bieser of Murietta, CA, Robert Bieser of Murietta, CA, and Paul Bieser of Seneca, NY; five grandchildren, Bryan, Tyler, Holli, Zach, and Eric; two brothers, Allen Lauer and Donald (Joan) Lauer; two sisters, Rita (Val) Fischbach and Lynn (Jerry) O'Sadnick; a sister-in-law, Alice Lauer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Lauer and sister-in-law, Shirley Lauer.

Visitation will be 5-8 P.M. Monday, October 13, 2014 at Merritt Funeral Home, 800 Monroe Street, in Mendota.

A Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Sublette. Rev. Randy Fronek officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Sublette.
