Obituary
Marian L. Rausch, 93 of Mendota passed away December 8, 2018 in her home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m., in the Merritt Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Porter officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00-11:30 a.m., in the funeral home.
Marian was born January 2, 1925 in Rock Falls to Clarence and Bernice (Stroup) Wallace. She married Darrel Rausch May 31, 1969 in Polo.
Marian was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Mendota.
She is survived by her three daughters Sheila (John) Weiler and Teresa Robinson both of Mendota and Annette (Ron) Smith of Dixon; two sons Timothy (Rhonda) Carlson of Dixon and Evan (Linda) Carlson of Richmond, KY; 22 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2016, son Rodger Carlson, grandson Dylan Jones, two brothers Raymond Wallace and Marvin Wallace, three sisters Lorraine Wallace, Donna Lattimer, and Rosetta VonHolten, two daughter in laws Rose Carlson and Vera Carlson, and a son in law Charles Robinson.
