Marijan T. Eich, 84, of Mendota died June 4, 2008, in St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Graveside services will be at noon Saturday at Restland Cemetery, Mendota, with the Rev. Dale Dykstra officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are provided by Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. She was born Jan. 13, 1924, in Mendota to Tracy and Theo ( T r u m a n ) Tower. She married Elmer Eich on June 27, 1943, in M o n t e r e y , Calif. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Mendota. She is survived by one daughter, Joanne (Marty) Weigman of Bloomington; two sons, Paul (Chris) Eich of Sun Valley, Calif., and Randall Eich of Warrensburg, Mo.; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992; three brothers and one sister. Memorials may be directed to First Presbyterian Church.
