Marion Schultz, 81, of Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Mendota died July 16, 2007, in the home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Holy Cross Church, Mendota, with the Rev. James Kruse officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Mrs. Schultz was born Nov. 4, 1925, in Dundee to Clarence and Ruby (McManaman) Johnson. She married James Schultz on Nov. 19, 1949, in Maytown. She graduated Mendota High School in 1945, was employed by Heritage Manor Nursing Home for more than 20 years as an aide and later worked in the activities area of the home. She was a member of Holy Cross Church. She is survived by a daughter, Cathy (John) Betz of Mendota; one son, Tom (Deb) Schultz of Mendota; five grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; two brothers and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband in March 1993; an infant grandson, Jeff; one brother and three sisters. Memorials may be directed to Heritage Manor Nursing Home?s activity department.
