Marjean G. Lovgren, 87, of LaMoille died Jan. 20, 2018, in Aperion Care, Princeton.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Community United Methodist Church, LaMoille with Rev. David Jungnickel officiating. Burial will be at Greenfield Cemetery, LaMoille.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until time of services Wednesday in the church. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota provided the arrangements.
Marjean was born Sept. 7, 1930, in Mendota to Fred and Grace (Parks) Brown. She married Louis Lovgren on May 8, 1948, in Mendota.
She was a graduate of Mendota High School. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church, LaMoille. She was a lifelong Cubs fan who enjoyed bowling and golf.
She was employed by McDonald's in Mendota for a number of years. She helped her husband in their farming operation in Westfield and Berlin Townships.
She is survived by five sons, David Lovgren of Waxahachie, Texas, Charles Lovgren and Douglas (Gail) Lovgren, both of LaMoille, Thomas (Bonnie) Lovgren of Arlington, and Michael (Hazel) Lovgren of Amboy; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a sister-in-law, Marian Brown of Mendota.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 20, 2014; her parents; a daughter-in-law, Catherine Lovgren; and two brothers, Art and Benton Brown.
Memorials may be directed to Community United Methodist Church, LaMoille Ambulance Service, or the donor's choice.
