Obituary
Marjorie A. Beck, 82, of Mendota passed away December 5, 2020 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Ottawa.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Troy Grove Cemetery with Rev. Susan Presley officiating. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is handling arrangements.
Marjorie was born July 17, 1938 in Aurora to Kenneth and Olive (Fraley) Davis. She married Arthur J. Beck on September 6, 1958 in Plainfield.
Marjorie's hobbies and interests included embroidery, traveling, spending time at her and her husband's trailer in Florida and baking chocolate chip cookies for family and friends fortunate to enjoy them. She also enjoyed neighbors and friends stopping by the farm for a cup of coffee and cookies from her round tins.
She is survived by her husband Arthur of Mendota; her daughter Barbara (John) Barnewolt of Brimfield; her son Kenneth (Charli) Beck of Mendota; her brother Jerry (Cheri) Davis of Sandwich and two grandsons Zachary and Kelby Barnewolt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Richard Davis and several family dogs.
