Marjorie M. Glaser, 82, of Mendota died May 6, 2012, in Mendota Community Hospital. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Holy Cross Church, Mendota, with the Rev. Fredi Gomez- Torres officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Sublette. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday with a 3:45 p.m. rosary in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. She was born Dec. 15, 1929, in Mendota to Amiel and Emily (Lachet) Didier. She married Francis Glaser on Oct. 25, 1952, in Holy Cross Church, Mendota. Mrs. Glaser graduated from Mendota High School in 1947 and also graduated from Sterling Beauty School. She owned and operated Marge's Beauty Shop in Mendota until her retirement in 1989. She was a member of Holy Cross Church. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Michele (Robert) Hamel of Byron and Marcie (Jeff) Seyfarth of Naperville; three grandchildren, Adam Seyfarth, Jason (Jenna) Hamel and Mandy (Rob) McCartney; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Evelyn Hochstatter of Wisconsin and Mary (Robert) Hild of LaMoille. She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer's Foundation.
