Marjorie "Margie" McFarland, 85, of Mendota passed away August 11, 2018 at OSF St. Paul Medical Center, Mendota.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m., Friday in the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Friday in the funeral home.

Margie was born November 23, 1932 in Mendota to Russell and Hilda (Frey) Dalton. She married Everett McFarland on November 7, 1954.

Margie graduated from Mendota High School with the class of 1951 and the Sterling School of Beauty in 1963. She worked at A & P Egg Candling Plant and later at HCC both in Mendota. Margie was a kind and loving person who cherished her family and friends.

She is survived by three sisters, Shirley (James R.) Johnson, Joan (Raymond) DeVault and Judy Stewart, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents, husband and three brothers, Donald, Robert and Norman Dalton.
