Marjorie J. Truckenbrod, 78, of LaMoille died Nov. 5, 2008, in Kindred Hospital, Sycamore. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Zion Lutheran Church of Clarion with the Rev. Kevin Weeks officiating. Burial will be at Clarion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. She was born June 7, 1930, in Chicago to Arthur A. and Marjorie (Ramsey) Meyer. She married Paul F. Truckenbrod on Feb. 11, 1950. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Clarion where she played the church organ and piano since 1947. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Barbara (Jeff) Morehead of Harmon; one son, Paul G. (Patricia) Truckenbrod of Mendota; five grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; and one brother Walter (Denise) Meyer of California. Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church of Clarion or the donor's choice.
