Marvin Weber, 84, of Mendota, died April 23, 2008, in Mendota Lutheran Home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Holy Cross C h u r c h , M e n d o t a , with the Rev. R o b e r t Spilman offic i a t i n g . Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday with a Scripture service at 4:45 p.m. Friday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Mr. Weber was born Nov. 25, 1923, in Sublette to John and Christina (Hoerner) Weber. He married Doris Christofferson on Jan. 12, 1946, in Earlville. He was a member of Holy Cross Church, Mendota Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge 1212. He moved to a farm south of Earlville in 1931, where he farmed for 60 years before retiring in 2005 and moved to Mendota in 2006. He is survived by his wife of Mendota; one daughter, Nancy Kaiser of Mendota; one son, Richard (Nanci) Weber of Jacksonville, Fla; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgranddaughter. He was preceded in death by one brother and an infant sister. Memorials may be directed to Holy Cross School or Mendota Lutheran Home.
