Mary Margaret Full, 93, of Mendota passed away in OSF St. Paul Medical Center, Mendota on the morning of March 29, 2016.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Holy Cross Church, Mendota, with the Rev. Joel Phelps officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mendota.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday with a 3:30 p.m. rosary in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Mary, along with her identical twin sister, Margaret, were born May 6, 1922, in Streator to John and Ella (Salata) Soltis. She graduated from Streator High School in 1940. She worked at the Streator hospital and a local law office until she met Raymond Full. They were married on Dec. 2, 1950.
They made their home in Mendota, where she was a homemaker and farm wife. In later years, she worked at Mendota Toddler Shop and was a member of St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society.
She also enjoyed bowling and participating in various card clubs. She took pleasure in attending daily Mass followed by coffee with her friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially taking family vacations with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her three children, her first son, Don Full of Sedalia, Mo., her only daughter, Mary Lou (Roger) Flahive of Mendota, and her son, Ron (Evelyn) Full of Mendota; five grandchildren, Matthew (Amanda) Full of Wood Dale, Tyler (Lacey) Full of Mendota, Katrina (Jared) Kirsteatter of La Salle, Kristin (Kelsey) Mankins of Mariposa, Calif., and Rebekah Full of Sedalia, Mo.; and three great-grandchildren, Cale, Shayne and Aubrey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Oct. 7, 1986; one sister, Margaret Donnelly; and one brother, Ray Soltis.
