Mary E. Gromann, 77, of Mendota died Jan. 19, 2009, in Mendota Lutheran Home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with the Rev. Michael Morrell officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
She was born Jan. 16, 1932, in Mendota to Ray and Katherine (Sibigtroth) Stevenson. She married Donald Gromann on Sept. 22, 1951, in Mendota.
She was a member of First United Mehtodist Church in Mendota. She graduated from Mendota High School in 1949 and was employed by Schimmer's Inc., as a bookkeeper until her retirement
She is survived by one son, Doug (Marjory) Gromann of Grand Junction, Colo.; two daughters, Kathy (Scott) Long of Mendota and Janet (Bruce) Boyle Jr., of Byron; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Richard (Sandy) Stevenson of Mendota.
She was preceded in death by her husband on May 9, 2004, and one brother, Ray Jr.
