Obituary
Mary Alice (Thomas) Meyers, 86, of Mendota, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 24, 2022 at OSF St. Paul Medical Center, Mendota surrounded by her loving family.
At her request no services will be held and cremation rites have been accorded. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is assisting the family.
Mary was born August 26, 1936 to Ed and Lula Thomas in Romine Township. She married Rick Meyers on November 1, 1974.
Mary retired from Del Monte Corp. after 25 years of service. She was a member and attended the Kingdom Hall in Mendota and Peru.
She is survived by her husband Rick Meyers of Mendota; five sons Ed (Estelle) of Mt. Morris, Steve (Kim) of Compton, Walt (Linda) and Bill (Renee) both of Mendota and Jason (Kay) of Oglesby; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Eugene and Estel.
