Mary E. Reeser, 96, of Mendota Lutheran Home died Jan. 9, 2009, in the home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church, Mendota, with the Rev. Dale Dykstra officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the church Thursday. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, provided the arrangements. She was born Aug. 5, 1912, in LaMoille to John W. and Sarah E. (Barger) Hild. She married Eddie Watson in 1932; he died in 1968. She married Murray Reeser in 1974; he died in 2004. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Mendota, a member and past worthy matron of Eastern Star, former member of Mendota Golf Club and LaMoille Birthday Club. She was a graduate of LaMoille High School. She is survived by one son, Donald (Sandra) Watson of Walnut; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert (Mary) Hild of LaMoille; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Memorials may be directed to Mendota Lutheran Home.
