Mary Steiger, 97, of Mendota, formerly of Lyons, died Jan. 21, 2011, in Mendota Lutheran Home. There will be no services. Burial will be at Glen Oak Cemetery, Hillside. Arrangements were provided by Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. She was born Jan. 6, 1914, in Chicago to Frank and Julia (Marchek) Sejnoha. She married Arthur F. Steiger. She moved to Triumph from Lyons in February 2005. She is survived by one daughter, Eileen (Roy) Klotz of Triumph. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, on June 24, 1967. Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
