Obituary
Maxine D. Williams, 92, of Mendota died April 22, 2016, in her residence.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Burial will take place in Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until services Wednesday in the funeral home.
Maxine was born June 13, 1923, in Compton to Roy and Mabel (Weygandt) Eggers.
She was a graduate of Compton High School. She owned and operated her own beauty shop for many years until her retirement. Survivors are her husband, Robert Williams of Mendota; one son, Frederick L. (Maria) Mann of Lake Geneva, Wis.; three grandsons, Robert L., William W. and David Mann; one stepgrandson, Patrick J. Conley; three great-grandsons, Kade W., Bradley and Turner Mann; three great-granddaughters, Azure N., Becca H., and Rylee Mann; and one great-great-granddaughter, Hayden Mann. Also surviving is one sister, Millie Zinke of Colorado, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her first husband, Oren L. Mann; and one son, David R. Mann, who was killed in Vietnam in 1969.
Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Church, Compton.
