Obituary
Michael Anthony Griffin, 25, of LaMoille passed away November 1st as a result of a single vehicular accident.
Memorial services will be held Friday at 11:00a.m., in the First Baptist Church, LaMoille with the Rev. Jerry Graham officiating. Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery, LaMoille with military rites by Mendota VFW Council 4079. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7p.m., in the church. Lundquist-Merritt Funeral Home, LaMoille handled arrangements.
Michael was born May 19, 1990 in Dade City, FL. to Robert and Cathy (Blackwell) Griffin.
Michael served in the United States Army for 6 years and was deployed in Afghanistan for one tour. He was currently a freight handler for Ace Distribution Center in Princeton. He graduated Kennesaw High School in Kennesaw, GA.
He is survived by his parents of LaMoille; daughter Ella Griffin of DeKalb; brother Matt Griffin of LaMoille; two sisters Elizabeth Griffin and Catherine Griffin both of LaMoille; maternal grandfather Herb (Lois) Blackwell of LaMoille and paternal grandparents Bobby and Judy Griffin of Sugar Hill, GA.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Janet Blackwell.
