Nancy L. Bunton, 79, of Mendota died May 25, 2012, in Heritage Health, Mendota. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church, Mendota with the Rev. Michael Morrell officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Thursday in the church. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota provided arrangements. She was born June 3, 1932, in Mendota to Robert and Mary Lou (Downing) Cummings. She married Lee "Dick" Bunton on Oct. 3, 1951, in Mendota. He died May 26, 2012. She graduated from Mendota High School in 1950 and was employed in sales with McConville Realty, Mendota. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Steve (Susan) Bunton of Rochelle and Rick (Cheryl) Bunton of Oregon, Ill.; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, James. Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church or the donor's choice.
