Nancy Lee (Terzick) Roulston, 68, of Troy Grove, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 22, 2022 at OSF St. Paul Medical Center, Mendota.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. Cameron Graper officiating. Burial will be in Troy Grove Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home.

Nancy was born April 6, 1954 in Spring Valley. She was the daughter of Jack and Joan (Staats) Terzick.

She had nine siblings, Cindy Terzick, Kenneth Terzick, Michael (Terrri) Terzick, Jackie "Cookie" (Moe) Manicki, Beverly (Dennis) Baker, Karen "Susie" Terzick, Joanie (Jack) Krizer, Jim (Brenda) Savage and Debbie (John) Graper.

She was employed in the food industry in Mendota such as Taco Bell, Hardee's, The Kitch-Inn, Sullivan's, and Pinks Pantry in Peru. The last eight years she worked at Mendota High School and retired from there in May of 2022.

She was a 1974 graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School. She was a member of Ax Church of LaSalle, Mendota Elks Lodge and the Women of the Moose. She enjoyed spending time with friends, bowling at the Elks and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild. Whenever someone had a birthday she enjoyed baking cakes for everyone and anyone she knew. From tying to crocheting blankets for all the new babies to making salads and baking pies, she enjoyed bringing joy to people's lives. She was an avid Chicago Bears, White Sox and Bulls fan.

She will be remembered for her heart of gold. That smile that would instantly bring you joy as soon as you saw her. How strong she was for herself and everyone around her. "Get over it", she would say, "I'm fine".

She is survived by her husband, Edward Paul Roulston. Nancy was blessed to have three children, Jessica (Keith) Franklin, Heather (Chad) Egler and Josh (Shelby Edgcomb) Roulston. She cherished her nine grandchildren, Lauren Stombaugh, Nolan Stombaugh, Connor Egler, Colton Egler, Kaelyn Franklin, Alyssa Franklin, Sydney Franklin, Braden Franklin and Carter Franklin. Chelsea (Tanner) Schwartzbach and Rebecca (Andrew Carter) Weide she also considered her grandchildren. Also a great grandchild Laine Andrew Kellen (parents Lauren Stombaugh and Erick Kellen) and Benjamin Andrew Carter (parents Rebecca Weide and Andrew Carter) who she looked at as great grandchild. Also two pending great grandchildren are on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Kenny, Michael and Jim Terziak, three sisters Cindy Terziak, Jackie "Cookie" Maniciki and Karen "Susie" Ryba.
