Naomi Anderson, 81, of Mendota died Feb. 15, 2008, in Mendota Lutheran Home. Memorial services will be in Bache Memorial Chapel, Van Orin, at a later date. Interment of ashes will be at Van Orin Repose Cemetery. Merritt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born March 18, 1926, in Princeton to Verdon and Myrna (Newton) Anderson. She married Robert Anderson on Sept. 18, 1946. Mrs. Anderson was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mendota. She had attended Knox College. She is survived by one son, Steven Anderson of Bountiful, Utah; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in April 1998.
