Obituary
Nathan Milton Eich, 72, of Illinois Veteran's Home, LaSalle and formerly of Mendota passed away January 27, 2021 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Ottawa.
There will be no visitation or services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private graveside services will be held at Union Cemetery, West Brooklyn with Rev. Jeff Schlesinger officiating at a later date. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota assisted with the arrangements.
Nathan was born April 3, 1948 in Mendota to Clarence and Dorothy (Fassig) Eich.
Nathan was a 1966 graduate of Mendota High School. He served in the United States Army 1970-1972 during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Compton.
He is survived by one sister Marla (Roger) Sommerville of Peru and one nephew Jacob Wojciechowski of Dalzell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Nancy Childers and Melody Wojciechowski.
