Neva L. Stuber, 93, of Waukegan, formerly of Mendota, died Dec. 23, 2010, in Pavilion Care Center, Waukegan. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be from noon until the time of services Monday in the funeral home. She was born March 14, 1917, in Troy Grove to Elmer and Verna (Gillett) Simpson. She married Roy Stuber on Oct. 21, 1945, in Mendota. Mrs. Stuber was a member of the Presbyterian church and Eastern Star. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara (Robert) Kramer of Waukegan. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 10, 1999; two brothers and one sister. Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
