Church, Mendota, with the
Revs. Bo Schmitt and Tom
Otto officiating. Burial will
be at Holy Cross Cemetery,
Mendota.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m.

She
was born
Oct. 31,
1924, in
Compton
to
Floyd and
Flossie
(Auchstetter)
Irwin. Upon the
death of her mother, she
was raised by her grandparents,
William and Susan
Auchstetter.
She attended Catholic
high school in West Brooklyn
and graduated from
Mendota High School in
1942. She married Robert
Doran on Jan. 4, 1944, in
St. Mary's Church, West
Brooklyn.
She was employed by
Conco Inc. in Mendota for
a number of years. She was
a member of Holy Cross
Church and St. Mary's Altar
Society. She belonged to
Elks Lodge 1212 and also
many card clubs.
She is survived by two
daughters, Kathy (Roger)
Weitzel of Mendota and
Mary Ann (Bill) Mullen
of Liberty, Mo.; two sons;
Ken (Pattye) Doran of
Mendota and Dave (Beth)
Doran of Lebanon, Ind.;
nine grandchildren, Sherry
Murphy, Jodie Hill, Jackie
Ohlinger, Tina Stevenson,
Mike Doran, Bridget Doran,
Angela Mohr, Cory Mohr
and Brandon Mohr; and 20
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in
death by her husband in
1972; and one grandson,
Scott Thompson.
