Orrilla Landers, 93, formerly of Mendota, died Nov. 1, 2009, in Kahl Home, Davenport, Iowa. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with pastor Kent Klundt officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is from 10:30 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home. She was born Aug. 25, 1916, in LaMoille to George and Dora (Kelley) Moody. She married James Landers on June 6, 1942. Mrs. Landers attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Mendota. She moved to Moline in 1997. She is survived by two daughters, Connie (Jim) Knuckey of Moline and Barbara (Victor) Klundt of Mesa, Ariz.; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in deathby her husband on April 23, 1978; four brothers and five sisters. Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer's Association.
