Orville O. Anderson,
84, of Sublette, formerly of
Mendota, died Jan. 16, 2014,
in Mendota Community
Hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m.
Tuesday in Merritt Funeral
Home with Deacon Ray
Fischer officiating. Burial
will be at Restland Cemetery,
Mendota.
Visitation is one hour prior
to services Tuesday at the
funeral home.
Mr. Anderson was born
July 24, 1929, in Heron Lake,
Minn., to Albert and Nora
(Gunderson) Anderson. He
married Helen Brown on Jan.
13, 1966; she died in Dec. 17,
1987.
He married Marie Mindas
on Feb. 14, 1993.
He was a truck driver for
Roadway Trucking for 25
years.
He is survived by his
wife, Marie of Sublette;
four stepdaughters, Wanda
(Larry) Booth of Mendota,
Becky (Tommy) Valdez
of Mendota, Marie Rael
of Arizona and Michelle
Jezuit of Dolton; three stepsons,
Donald Paskiewicz of
Arizona, William Paskiewicz
of Charleston, S.C., and
Stephen Zikmund of Dolton;
24 grandchildren and 16
great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he
was preceded in death by one
stepson, Robert Beitsch; one
stepdaughter, Mary; and one
brother.
