Pamela S. Gillette, 66, of Mendota, was sent to God to return to her beloved family in Heaven. She was born July 1, 1958 to Robert "Bud" and Alberta "Dolly" Gillette. She was the last of their brood.
She was an inspiration and shared her knowledge and love of life to every person she came in contact with. She worked at Wayside Press (RR Donnelly) for 25 years, being the first presswoman in printing for many years. She tried to overcome adversities most people would run from while pursuing her trade. She lived life her way. She was ahead of her time and a deeply devoted family historian.

Pam is survived by her son Toby (Jackie) Fitzgerald; two grandchildren, Jaelyn and Jonas; a brother, Richard Gillette of St. Petersburg, Florida; two sisters, Deb Arndt of Sterling,  Illinois and Donna (Kevin) Dean of Salem, Alabama and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Pat (Kenny) Sheridan.
