Patricia Ann Donahue, 80, of Rockford, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. Pat was born July 14, 1944, in Mendota, IL, the daughter of L.M. "Mike" and Alice (Guilfoyle) Donahue.

Pat attended Holy Cross Grade School in Mendota and graduated from Mendota Township High School in 1962. Later in life, she attended Rock Valley College before transferring to Cardinal Stritch University where she graduated in 1995. Pat worked 40 years at Rockford Products Corporation. She was a manager in transportation and shipping. She volunteered for many years with OSF Hospice, crocheting blankets for hospice patients. She was an avid reader and an avid investor in the stock market. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephew, whom she supported whole heartedly.

Pat is survived by her sister, Cathy Donahue of Mendota; three sisters-in-law, Sandee, Ellen, and Jan Donahue; and five nieces and one nephew.

In addition to her parents, Pat is preceded in death by three brothers, Mick, Jerry, and Joe Donahue.

Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home, 800 Monroe St. in Mendota,

The funeral Mass will be at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mendota with Father Greg Nelson officiating. Private interment will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Mendota.
