Obituary
Patrick L. Sheridan, 90 formerly of Mendota passed away March 15, 2019 at Illinois Veterans Home at LaSalle just three days before his 91st birthday.
Private family services will be held Thursday 1:30 p.m.at the Merritt Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Pat was born March 18, 1928 in Moundville, Missouri to Philip and Gretna (Butler) Sheridan. He married Louise Smith December 26, 1956 in Pittsfield.
Pat was a United States Air Force veteran serving in Alaska during the Korean War and received the National Defense Service Medal. He retired from Del Monte Corp. in 1985 after 25 years of service. He enjoyed gardening and earned "Garden of the Month" award.
He is survived by his wife Louise; a sister Mary (Doug) Sterchi of LaMoille and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents and a brother Michael.
