Obituary
Paul Mark Albers, 55, of Mendota passed away at November 26, 2019 at Loyola University Medical Center.
Memorial services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Compton with Rev. Jeff Schlesinger officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-4 p.m. in the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Paul was born September 20, 1964 in Mendota to Arlo and Donna (Kaufman) Albers. He married Roxanne Dewey March 24, 1984 at Amboy Baptist Church.
Paul was a 1982 graduate of Mendota High School. He was a self employed farmer and trucker for most of his life. He worked at Crop Production Services in Amboy. He loved his family and friends and was most happy spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Roxanne of Compton; his daughter Amanda (Beau) Loomis of Compton; his son Chad (Suzy) Albers of Paw Paw; his sister Rebecca Delhotal of Mendota; two brothers David (Lisa) Albers of Mendota and Tim (Paula) Albers of Rochelle; and four grandchildren Lilly Loomis, Dillian Loomis, Tristan Loomis, and Liam Loomis all of Compton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
