Obituary
Paul Edmund Scott, 77, of Mendota, passed away February 5, 2023 at Heritage Health, Mendota.
Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Mendota VFW Post 4079 will have a flag presentation before visitation.
Paul was born September 27, 1945 in Mendota to Edward and Wilma (Schmidt) Scott.
Paul attended Mendota High School and served in the United States Marines. He was stationed in Hawaii and fought in the Vietnam War. Paul enjoyed being outdoors fishing, boating, camping and traveling in his motor home. He also played bass guitar in a few bands on the weekends.
Paul is survived by his two daughters Mindy (Mark) Kellen and Cristy (Tom) Stevens; his siblings John (Beth) Scott of Wisconsin, Mike (Kay) Scott of Mendota, Sue Scott of Princeton, Edward (Andi) Scott of West Brooklyn and Amy Scott; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Vicki, his sisters Marsha and Wanda and brothers Rich and Steve.
