Pearl C. Rhoads, 80, of Steward died January 24, 2018 in the Mendota Lutheran Home.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday in the Paw Paw United Methodist Church with Rev David Holden officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Monday in the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota and one hour prior to services Tuesday in the church.

Pearl was born March 31, 1937 in Salt Lake City, UT to Hans and Vera (Urry) Maecker. She married Elmer Rhoads on February 21, 1959 in Salt Lake City.

She was a graduate of South High School, Salt Lake City and attended the University of Utah. She was a member of the Mormon Church of Latter Day Saints. She attended the Paw Paw United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer of Steward; one daughter, Sandy (Steve) Stagg of Galena, OH; two sons, Mark Rhoads of Paw Paw and Randall Rhoads of Naperville; 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; one brother, Easton Maecker of Salt Lake City; one sister, Doreen Bobinski of Calgary, Canada.

She was preceded by her parents, daughter-in-law, Christy Rhoads and two brothers in infancy.
