Ralph T. Sloan, 85, formerly of Mendota, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2022 at Illinois Veteran's Home at LaSalle.

Ralph was born April 5, 1937 in Mendota to Joseph and Euna (Becket) Sloan.

Ralph graduated from Mendota High School in 1955. He immediately joined the United States Army and was stationed in Germany for two years. Ralph worked as a carpenter for many years in Monticello, Indiana. He also was a member of the Monticello Church which he attended frequently. Ralph will be fondly missed by his many friends in Indiana and Illinois.

Ralph is survived by his brother Jim (Marlene) Sloan of Mendota; his son William Sloan and his daughter Noel Sloan both of California and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Roland Sloan.

At Ralph's request there will be no funeral service. Private interment will be held at I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery in Monticello, Indiana. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota handled arrangements.
