Randall "Randy" Radtke, 61, of Mendota died Jan. 2, 2016, in his residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. John's Lutheran Church, Mendota with the Rev. Janet Lepp officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following services.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.

Randy was born March 25, 1954, in Mendota to Ernest and Catherine (Haub) Radtke. He married Charlene Stepp on Dec. 29, 1981, in Bloomington.

He was a 1972 graduate of Mendota High School and a graduate of Illinois State University.

He served as a Viola Township supervisor. For a number of years, he was engaged in farming in the West Brooklyn area and later employed by Mayrath Inc., Compton. For the past several years, he was a self-employed computer technician.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene of Mendota; two sons, Randall Troy (Jennifer) Radtke of Escondido, Calif. and Michael (Trine) Lane of Radium Springs, N.M.; one daughter, Denise Lane of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; his mother; Catherine Radtke of Mendota; one sister; Carole (Steve) Dancey of Mendota; and two brothers; Richard (Carol) Radtke of Bloomington, Minn. and Rodney (Sara) Radtke of Durham, N. C.
