Randy Joseph Clark, 59, of Mendota lost his battle with PAD (peripheral artery disease) on July 31 at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00a.m. in the First United Methodist Church, Mendota with Rev. Kent Svendsen officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded after the funeral and burial will be private at a later date. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7p.m., in the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Randy was born March 28, 1957 in Ashton to Joe and Darlene (Konczak) Clark. He married Rebecca Sterling in October of 1982.
Randy was a 1976 graduate of Mendota High School, he began his career at Wayside Press (RR Donnelley) in Mendota where he worked for more than 20 years.
Randy had a great love for his family and could most often be found spoiling and loving on his grand babies or rooting for his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Cubs.
Randy is survived by his parents Joe Clark of Arkansas and Darlene Hensley of Arkansas; his loving wife Rebecca of Mendota, son Kevin (Haley) Clark of Compton; daughter Miranda (Dustin) Dearing of Mendota; two sisters Betty Jo (Craig) Wier and Christina (Ken) Reed both of Arkansas, and four grandchildren Beau, Emma and Cole Dearing and Kathleen Clark.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and one niece Candace Lee Sterling.
