Raymond J. Cullinane, 89, formerly of Streator and Amboy died April 6, 2012, in Heritage Health of Mendota. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Cross Church, Mendota, with the Rev. Gary Blake officiating. Burial will be at St. Ann's Cemetery, Toluca. Visitation is 9:30-10:15 a.m. Wednesday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. He was born Sept. 17, 1922, in Amboy to John and Nellie (Douver) Cullinane. He was a graduate of Amboy High School. He worked at Conco- Tellus in Mendota for eight years and later at Thatcher Glass Co. in Streator before his retirement. He is survived by one niece, Kathy (Kirk) Schwingle of Mendota; one nephew, Ron Rinalde of Toluca; and two greatnephews. He was preceded in death by one sister.
