Richard J. Heinzeroth, 65, of LaMoille died Feb. 19, 2009, in his residence. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Community United Methodist Church, LaMoille. The Rev. Martha Wendel-Caputo will officiate. Burial will be at Greenfield Cemetery, LaMoille, with military rites by VFW Post 4079 in Mendota. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday in the church. Arrangements are through Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Mr. Heinzeroth was born Nov. 19, 1943, in Mendota to LeRoy and Mabel (Earich) Heinzeroth. He married Barbara Knowlton on June 12, 1970, in Mendota. He graduated from Mendota High School in 1962. He served with the 16
th Signal Battalion in the 7 th U.S. Army. He was a plumber and worked for Triple Service, Walter Brothers and Kellen's Plumbing and Heating, all in Mendota, before retiring. Survivors are his wife, Barbara of LaMoille; three daughters, Penny (Reese) Wamhoff and Mindy (Mark) Kellen, both of LaMoille, and Kelly (Howie) Jackson of Mendota; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Keith (Vina) Heinzeroth and Wayne Heinzeroth, both of Mendota; five sisters, Pearl (Clarence) Pfeiffer of Dixon, Ruth Musser, Velma (Don) Schmidt, Joyce (Jim) Spanier and Katherine (Leonard) Funfsinn, all of Mendota; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother. Memorials may be directed to the family.Visits: 0
