Mendota, formerly of
Colorado and Nebraska, died
Sept. 3, 2012, in her daughter's
Mendota home.
Mass of Christian burial
will be at 10 a.m. Friday in
Sts. Peter & Paul Church,
Peterstown, with the Rev.
Geoff Horton officiating.
Burial will be at Bassett
Memorial Cemetery, Basset,
Neb.
Visitation is 9-9:45 a.m.
Friday in Merritt Funeral

She was born Jan. 10,
1928, in Asbury, Mo., to
Everett L. and Pearl (Hayne)
Thompson. She married Dale
Edward Minnig on March 23,
1946, in O'Neill, Neb.
She was a member of Sts.
Peter & Paul Church,
Peterstown. She moved to
Mendota from Loveland,
Colo.. in August 2011 to live
with her daughter. She previously
lived in Bassett, Neb.,
before moving to California
in 1962 and then to Colorado
in 1966.
She is survived by two
daughters, Karen (Richard)
Beck of Arvada, Colo., and
Penny (Dr. Michael)
Vercimak of Mendota; one
son, Thomas (Valeria) Minnig
of Arvada; 13 grandchildren
and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her husband on June 15,
2004; one granddaughter,
Laura; and four sisters.
Memorials may be directed
to the family for a memorial
to be established in her
memory.
