Obituary
Robert E. Beitsch, 62, of Mendota died Oct. 31, 2011, in Mendota Community Hospital. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Deacon Ray Fischer officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is 11 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Beitsch was born Jan. 28, 1949, in Mendota to Robert V. and Helen (Brown) Beitsch. He graduated from Mendota High School in 1968. He was employed by Caterpillar in Aurora as an assembler. He is survived by one daughter, Amie (Chad) Zimmerman of Mendota; one son, Aaron (Sandy) Beitsch of Tonica; two grandchildren, Shelby and Dylan; two sisters, Wanda (Larry) Booth and Becky (Tom) Valdez, both of Mendota; and his stepfather, Orville Anderson of Sublette. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be directed to the family.
