Robert A. Lindenmeyer, 89, of Princeton and formerly of Sublette, died July 15, 2016, in Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with the Rev. Michael Slutz officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Sublette. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday in Merritt Funeral Home.
Robert was born June 24, 1927, in West Brooklyn to Joseph and Dorothy (Brown) Lindenmeyer. He married Jolene Erbes on Aug. 7, 1952, in Sublette. She preceded him in death in 1996.
Robert was a graduate of Lee Center High School and was a dairy farmer his entire life. He was a member of Mendota Elks Lodge and enjoyed going to his grandchildren's sporting events.
He is survived by three sons, Robert Lindenmeyer of Amboy, Ryan (Tina) Lindenmeyer of Sublette and Rusty (Amy) Lindenmeyer of Mendota; two daughters, Rebecca (John) Kehoe of Mendota and Relissa (Robin) Senn of Amboy; 11 grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, seven stepgreat-grandchildren; a sister, Verna Gordon of Mendota; and his significant other, Norma Bickett of Princeton.
He was preceded in death by his son, Rodney in 1978.
