Robert August John Zeinert, 85, of Mendota died March 13, 2015, in Mendota Lutheran Home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in First Presbyterian Church, Paw Paw with the Rev. Anne Hoflen officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hills Cemetery, Oak Brook Terrace.Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the church. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota provided the arrangements.
Robert was born Dec. 4, 1929, in Shepley, Wis. to Herman and Delia (Stoldt) Zeinert. He married Luetta Jamerson on April 7, 1950, in Elmhurst.
He was a plasterer for more than 40 years. He loved fishing, hunting and working with his hands. He was a man who will always be remembered in our hearts.
He is survived by his wife Luetta of Mendota; two sons, Ronald Allen (Cindy) Zeinert of Plainfield, and Gary Zeinert of Iowa; three daughters, Gail Stefanski of Mendota, Kathline (Ed) Sek of Wheeling and Patricia (Otto) Geiseman of Michigan; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
