Roberta M. Goldenson,
66, of Troy Grove passed away Jan.
6, 2014, in OSF St. Francis
Medical Center, Peoria.
Cremation rites have been
accorded. There will be no
services or visitation. Merritt
Funeral Home, Mendota is in
charge of arrangements.
She was born Sept. 28,
1947, in Livingston, Mont.,
to Robert and Esther (Ng)
Close.
Survivors include two
daughters, Barbara Anthony
of Troy Grove and Mona
Suggs of Mendota; one son,
Franklin (Julie) Ponder Jr. of
Troy Grove; two grandsons,
Jeffrey Bonnell and Alex
Suggs; and two granddaughters,
Casey and Rylee Ponder.
She was preceded in
death by her parents; husband Richard; and one brother.
Memorials may be directed
to the donor's choice.
