Roger D. Anderson, 84 of Paw Paw passed away January 28, 2020 at Heritage Health, Mendota.

Memorial services will be Saturday February 8, 2020 at Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. Ken Foster officiating. Burial will be in Waltham Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Roger was born June 16, 1935 in LaSalle to Charles and Ava (Thomson) Anderson. He married Kathy Minor in 2005 in Paw Paw.

Roger was a 1953 graduate of Mendota High School. He worked in the farm shop at Del Monte for 40 years. He was a member of Mendota Elks Lodge, Mendota Moose Lodge and Mendota VFW Post 4079. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Anderson of Paw Paw; his brother Arthur (Corinne) Anderson of Plano; three step sons Kevin Hawbaker of Mendota, Randy Minor and Karl Hawbaker both of Paw Paw; four step grandchildren Allison Hawbaker and John Hawbaker both of Mendota and Kendall Hawbaker and Mackenna Hawbaker both of Paw Paw; three nephews Eric Anderson, Timothy Anderson and Heath Anderson; niece Marsha Spidle; three step nieces Kelli, Kara and Kay; sister in law Patty (Dave) Lange; brother in law Randy Modglin and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister in law and brother in law Peggy (Hank) Williams.
