Ronald "Ronnie" Leon Clark, 68 of Mendota, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Javon Bea Hospital—Riverside in Rockford, IL.  Ronnie was born October 17, 1956 in Mendota, IL the son of Jackie and Thelma (Allen) Clark.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his father: Jackie Clark.  Ronnie is survived by his mother: Thelma Ladson of Mendota, IL; The love of his life: Brandi L.Clark of Mendota, IL; 3 sons: Jeffery Leon (Trisha) Clark of Mendota, Jason Earl Clark of MN and Kyle Leon (Marcy) Clark of Mendota; 4 daughters: Mikayla Clark of Mendota, IL, Madison (Tyler) Woods of Mendota, IL , Brandy Foht and Kaleena McIntyre ; Grandchildren, Payton (Michael) Spencer, Corbin Clark, Gage Clark, Blaze Clark, and Dean Clark. 3 great grandchildren; Kiyara Spencer, Sheyenne Spencer, and Adelaide Spencer. 2 Sisters: Connie (Rick) Borelli of Mendota, IL and Marilyn Knott of Fort Myers, FL. He also had a special relationship with his sister-in-law, Dana (Michael) Ullrich. He had many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

Ronnie had a love for being outdoors camping, fishing, and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was always working on a project. He also loved spending time with his dogs.

Public visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 PM, Wednesday, Oct. 15 at the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home in Mendota.  Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 16 at the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home in Mendota.  Cremation rights will take place after the services.  Visit www.horner-merritt.com for online guestbook.
