Ross G. Worsley Sr., 94, of Mendota Lutheran Home died Aug. 16, 2010, in Mendota Community Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with the Rev. Dale Dykstra officiating. Burial will be at Dewey Cemetery, Ophir Township. Visitation is one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Worsley was born July 25, 1916, in Ophir Township to Roy and Isabella (Nelson) Worsley. He worked at Black Bros. Co. as a welder for 35 years. He is survived by one son, Ross (Linda) Worsley Jr. of Mendota; two daughters, Lorraine Manning of Mendota and Linda Jauch of Van Orin; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sons, two brothers and four sisters. Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
