2012, in Illinois Valley
Community Hospital, Peru.
Services will be at 12:30
p.m. Wednesday in Merritt
Funeral Home, Mendota.
Donald Palmatier will officiate.
Burial will be at Restland
Cemetery, Mendota.
Visitation will be 10 a.m.-
noon Wednesday in the funeral
home.
She was born Nov. 24,
1929, in Campbellsville, Ky.,
to Porter and Maude (Owens)
Glidewell. She married Ray
Blaydes on June 1, 1946.
She was a member of
Harvest Community Church
of the Nazarene, Peru.
Survivors include two
sons, David (Susan) Blaydes
of Naperville and James
(Christine) Blaydes of
Oglesby; seven grandchildren,
Bridgette, Lauren,
Megan and J.D. Blaydes,
Janna, Michael and Laura;
four great-grandchildren; and
one brother, Marvin
Glidewell of Campbellsville,
Ky.
She was preceded in death
by her husband on April 15,
2007; two brothers and three
sisters.
