Obituary
Ruth G. Crossman, 98, formerly of LaMoille died Feb. 17, 2015, in Manor Court of Peru.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with the Rev. Howard Smith officiating. Burial of ashes will be at Greenfield Cemetery, LaMoille at a later date.
Visitation is one hour prior to services Saturday in the funeral home.
She was born March 14, 1916, in Ophir Township to Gabriel and Cynthia (Worsley) Pohl. She married Richard Crossman on Feb. 25, 1937.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Mendota. She and her husband enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Europe. She also enjoyed fishing trips to Minnesota. She graduated from Mendota High School in 1934.
She is survived by one sister, Clarice (Maurice) Faber of Mendota and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 13, 1994; and three brothers, Elman, Arthur and Howard Pohl.
