Sharon L. Webber, 76, of Peru died June 17, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 21 at Grace United Methodist Church, LaSalle with Rev. Brett A. Todd officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on June 21 at the church. Private interment of ashes will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota at a later date. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Sharon was born Sept. 19, 1938 in Allegan, Mich. to Ward and Leona (Siebright) Bond. She married Norman Webber on Oct. 1, 1965. He preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1996.
Survivors include two sons, Brian (LuAnne) Webber of Dover and Scott (Elizabeth) Webber of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Kim Marie (Patrick) Shea of Merion Station, Pa., Tylene (Stephen) Lewis of Peru and No Jo (Colby) Sawin of LaSalle; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol Hardin of Michigan; and David Colby (father of Kim and Scott) of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Ronald; and one sister, Marcelyn.
Sharon was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and belonged to the Soul Sisters of the church. She was a 1956 graduate of Everett High School in Lansing, Mich. She was employed as a beautician, cosmetics salesperson and financial planner and also worked at Plano Molding in Mendota. She was Queen Bee in the Illinois Valley Fillies Red Hat Society.
