Sheryle L. Shaver, 73, of Mendota, IL passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2024, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL surrounded by her family. She was born in DeKalb, IL to Doris Ladene Bradford on May 17, 1951.

She is survived by the love of her life, Doug Shaver, of Amboy; her son, Chad (Jen) Johnson of Utica; daughters, Gina (Ed) Johnson of Earlville and Laura Harmon of Amboy; seven grandchildren, Trisha, Steven, Christopher, Sarah, Sean, Tiffany, and Kyle; eight great-grandchildren, Bentley, Noah, Paislee, Kara, Max, Evalynn, Kinslee, and Ryker; her sister and best friend, Linda (Larry) Walter of Excello, MO; three brothers, Ken (Rose) Harlow of Mendota, Jan (Tara) Bradford of Peru, and Jon (Debbie) Bradford of Mendota; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Crabb; mother, Doris Ladene Bradford; step-dad, Archie Bradford; grandma, Myrtle Marinhagen; two brothers, Brad Bradford and Bill Scheppers; nephew Brian Crabb; and her mother-in-law, Irene Shaver.

Cremation care has been provided by the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home in Mendota. A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M.
