Shirley M. Henrich, 85, of 2283 Shady Oaks Road,West Brooklyn died Feb. 2, 2009, in her home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday with an Eastern Star service at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. She was born Jan. 29, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo., to George W. and Rose (Plain) Lauderdale. She married George Henrich on June 20, 1943, in Independence, Mo. She was a member of Sublette Union Church, where she also served as choir leader. She was a member and past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a 4-H leader in Sublette for 20 years and a member of Sublette Women's Club. She is survived by a daughter, Rose Mary (Robert) Ernst of Independence, Mo.; one granddaughter; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 28, 1999; one son, George Henrich III; four sisters and four brothers. Memorials may be directed to Sublette Rescue Squad or Sublette Union Church.
