Mendota died Dec. 3, 2015,
in the residence of her sister.
A Mass of Christian burial
will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday
in Holy Cross Church,
Mendota with the Rev. Joel
Phelps officiating. Burial
will be at Restland Cemetery,
Mendota.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m.
Tuesday in Merritt Funeral
Home, Mendota.
She was born Oct. 29,
1951, in Mexicali, Mexico
to Luis and Evangelina (De
LaTorie) Caldera. She married
Harold Sprowls Jr. on
Aug. 13, 1994, in Las Vegas, Nev.
She was a member of
Holy Cross Church.
She is survived by two
daughters, Jocelyn (John)
Banda and Johanna Pereira-
Villa, both of California;
one son, Joe Pereira of California;
her mother; Evangelina
De LaTorie of
Mendota; eight grandchildren;
two sisters, Angie
(Raul) Rosales and Ana (Arturo)
Bermudez, both of Mendota.
She was preceded by her
husband on May 26, 2005,
and her father. Memorials
may be directed to donors choice.
